What makes Chen Style Taiji special?
Chen Tai Chi (or Taiji Quan) is the oldest and original Style of Taiji, from which all other styles later evolved.
It has been passed down through generations of the Chen family, preserving not only the movements and forms but also the internal principles as the heart of Tai Chi.
When you practice Chen forms, you learn not just the external choreography but also how the body and Qi work together in harmony. Through this understanding, you discover how softness can effectively overcome hard force.
We teach you step by step, give clear instructions, and explain the meaning of the movements. We will not practice forms over and over again without understanding what is happening in each movement. We will go beyond the form.
We are discovering the principles of Chen Style Tai Chi. Over time, you will find that these principles can be applied not only in your Tai Chi but also in your everyday life.
Who will teach you?
Adela Zavadova
The founder of Inner Flow Center, a certified Tai Chi Instructor and Coach, with a Master’s degree in Education
First, I discovered Tai Chi while at university. I have been practicing for over 16 years and am grateful that I found a great Chen Style Tai Chi teacher early on, as the practice completely captured me.
Chen Tai Chi is bottomless and full of opportunities for personal growth, so I never get bored. Through Tai Chi, I met my husband, David, and we are partners both in life and in our practice.
We come from the Czech Republic, where we had the opportunity to learn from many excellent Chen Tai Chi teachers. We have also been attending seminars with Grandmaster Chen Xiao Wang (the Head of the Chen Style Tai Chi), Master Chen Bing, and Master Chen Shi Hong - some in Europe, some in the US. And we continue on our Tai Chi way.
